Beowulf von Barrows is a very special 18 month old long haired German Shepherd with a gloriously thick coat and the kind of magnetic attraction that makes people stop to meet him everywhere he goes. He is intelligent and a quick learner, gives easy kisses, and wants to be close to you in case you need him within a second’s notice. His foster mom has nicknamed him "cuddlebug" because his favorite thing in the world is to nuzzle up with you. He snores slightly while he sleeps, isn’t a barker so far, and he's house broken and uses the doggie door with ease. He’s missing the toes of his back left foot but he doesn't let that slow him down a bit. Come and meet Beowulf and you won't be able to resist his charms! NO CATS PLEASE.

A note from his foster mom:

Such good news.  My friend babysat Beowulf this weekend and had him interacting with so many dogs.  He had him at the dog park and said he was a perfect angel.  Had an amazing time.  Loves to play with everyone, loves the park.  He has made many new friends who all want to help him, so work is spreading wide. I think this is largely due to him finally feeling fully recouperated and safe.   But I am so so happy to hear that he loves to play and gets along with dogs of all kinds.
